The Money Belt: What Mayweather and McGregor are fighting for

While promoting "The Money Fight", Mayweather has made sure to plug his newest business venture, Girl Collection, a 6,000 square-foot topless club in Las Vegas that he opened in May.

Thousands of fans, including a sizeable contingent of Irish supporters, thronged the heart of the Nevada boxing capital to greet Mayweather and McGregor at their separate grand arrival ceremonies.

As we said, this press conference was a lot more civil than the ones that preceded it.

"I'm calm and cool, same as I am in every fight". I enjoy it. I don't stop thinking about fighting.

He added: "I think this is first and foremost a television event". I can't really say what's the number, but I will bet something heavy. "I'm not gonna look to implement anything".

UFC President Dana White said that with McGregor already being a part of USADA's testing pool being an active fighter in the UFC, Mayweather had no issue jumping into the program. However, what's interesting is that he's clearly thought this through.

But when the UFC champion sat down for a rapid fire round of questions ahead of his clash with Floyd Mayweather, it threw up some unexpected answers. We're two huge names in combat sports. "He's a tough competitor", he said.

"I believe one or two rounds, with 8-ounce gloves I don't see him surviving", McGregor said. He's going to need something to numb the pain when the recurrent woman-batterer turns his fists loose on Saturday night.

"I'm intrigued. He talks a good game".

But McGregor said: "I believe I will knock him out early".

A child that became a man who came from nothing and built himself up to the point of stardom through years of hard work and sacrifice.

The superstar fighters won't pull any punches in the insult department.as this is one last shot at encouraging fans to drop some coin on the PPV. Mayweather instructed a few members of his entourage to calm down and be respectful when a few of them barked at McGregor. We have a major, powerful deal that you will see forever.

"Pacquiao's got bombs, Canelo's (Alvarez) got bombs, Shane Mosley had bombs, and all those guys (I have faced) are going in the Hall of Fame".

After all the hoopla and back and forth banter, the time is almost here for one of the biggest events in the history of combat sports. That's the game I come from.

As far as odds on how many rounds the fight will go, the under is plus money up until 6.5 rounds, and does not drop to 2/1 until under 4.0 rounds, which pays +200.
